Asgard is the open catalog repo and registry for TITANOSYS. Niflheim
loads it as an archive, indexes the manifests, and deploys from there.
When a product bumps version, the Asgard copy and the app's
deploy/asgard/ copy are meant to stay identical.
 
App source can live in product repos, but operators still need a
versioned, installable catalog that matches the Niflheim manifest
contract. Asgard is that surface: YAML under apps/, plus the container
images the chart and workloads pull.
