Blackwall

IPS and threat scanning for Niflheim, named after the Cyberpunk barrier

Read the plan

Who it is for

Clusters accumulate stale images, soft configs, and odd traffic. A separate scanner SKU that never sees Niflheim context is only half useful. Blackwall is meant to sit on the platform path: prevent and detect from host through layer 7, with optional AI that you can leave off.

What it is

Blackwall is the free-to-use, closed-source IPS and threat scanner for Niflheim estates. It uses live CVE / CVSS feeds, reviews images and payloads, and can act on traffic irregularities. Yog-Sothoth is the SIEM / exercise add-on; Tanka can optionally consume findings for image rebuilds.

What you get

  • Inline or near-inline prevention on edge / gateway paths (exact shape TBD)
  • Alert, quarantine, and block actions under operator control
  • Host / node posture plus image and package CVE scanning
  • Workload payload and manifest review for risky settings and secret patterns
  • Network and layer-7 traffic irregularity detection
  • Optional AI triage; core detect and prevent must work with AI off
