Who it is for

App source can live in product repos, but operators still need a versioned, installable catalog that matches the Niflheim manifest contract. Asgard is that surface: YAML under apps/, plus the container images the chart and workloads pull.

What it is

Asgard is the open catalog repo and registry for TITANOSYS. Niflheim loads it as an archive, indexes the manifests, and deploys from there. When a product bumps version, the Asgard copy and the app's deploy/asgard/ copy are meant to stay identical.
